Talk about a virus! The February Toronto housing stats caused a ton of heat, with temperatures wayyyy above normal! Sales up by 46% vs. last year and they took place at the speed of sound! just 17 days on market. Average sale prices in the city soared by 17%. Stress tests have been “softened” and there’s been a rate cut. Hold on to your hats citizens. This is going to be a bumpy ride for buyers. But I can help with that. The worst news here is that tho’ demand is HIGH…we have THIRTY THREE PERCENT LESS INVENTORY than last Feb…Toronto has only 1.6 months of inventory. Only 27%of those fabulous freehold sales took place in the city…73% took place in the 905.
