What is a brand anyway?!

At the end of the day, branding is much more than marketing or a Logo.  Branding is exactly how your clients feel about you and about your service as well as every touchpoint they ever experienced from doing business with you. 

It’s about providing your clients with solutions to their problems that create a positive change in their lives.

It’s about creating a consistent atmosphere of business where they can reliably come to get their needs met. 

And most importantly, it’s about creating a community where they know their answers will be met with the best and most reliable information they can possibly get.  Armed with the best information, they are then equipped to make the best decisions for themselves, and that, after all should be your brand’s mission.

According to Seth Godin, our clients want MORE than just results.  They want AND expect MORE from us as itemized below:

1. RESULTS: Deliver on what you have promised.  I would even say OVER DELIVER whenever you have the opportunity!

2. THRILLS: Work harder for them than they would for themselves.  It’s exciting for clients to see us JUMP THROUGH HOOPS to get our promises delivered and our transaction executed.

3. EGO: Seth Says to “make them feel important” but I would go a little further and say to MAKE SURE they KNOW they’re important.  Because they ARE IMPORTANT!  It’s about THEM.  NOT about us.
